Austin T Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I have seen it mentioned a lot on the forum and in mags but how do I get them into scale?
Skip Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Paint here too, get a measurement from a scale plate and reduce the Acme plate until it measures the same. Takes a couple of trys to get right but they don't take that much ink.
crazyjim Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 I make them in Acme and then import the image into Corel Draw to manipulate the size and keep duplicating until I fill a sheet. I print them on Kodak photo paper.
Guest G Holding Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 MS Word......Insert as a JPG file (picture) , then resize as needed. You will not lose any detail this way...I will make 5 or 6 at once on glossy 4x6 photo paper, cut out and paste with white glue
91blaze Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 I make them on paint, then copy them over to Word and resize there. That way you don't lose any detail like you would just using paint.

sjordan2 Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) Set up your printer window to print it at whatever percentage is necessary based on the size of your original. If your original art is 1" wide and you want a plate that's 1/4 inch wide, print it out at 25%. The end. Edited July 1, 2012 by sjordan2
