Gluebomber Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Here are some pics of the Fujimi Lambo Aventador. Built box stock, paint is House of Kolor Sunrise Pearl with HOK Clear. All comments are welcome. Thanks for looking.
LAone Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 wow, box stock you say?? amazing! how did you like the kit?
Gluebomber Posted July 2, 2012 Author Posted July 2, 2012 Thanks to all for the kind words. Luis, I liked the kit a lot, but you definitely have to take your time and plan ahead. Some parts like the engine cover need to be thinned at the edges so they fit flush with the rest of the body. Also, after a couple of costs of paint, a lot of parts needed to be sanded or drilled so they fit correctly. Most of these issues apply to any kit, but seemed to be especially the case on this one. Harold Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Awesome. All its missing is Jezza behind the wheel shouting 'POWER!'
Beerman86GT Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Awesome choice on color! One of my favorite colors of all time!!!
crazyjim Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 The car does nothing for me. The paint is a knock out and so SHINY :)

Hedgehog Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 (edited) Awesome it looks sharp. What scale is it? And where did you get the kit from? Edited July 3, 2012 by Hedgehog
Gluebomber Posted July 3, 2012 Author Posted July 3, 2012 Thanks again for all the kind words. Wilbert, the model is 1/24 scale and I got it from Hobby Link Japan. It's a fairly recent release, but I would expect it to hit the states before too long. I should apologize for the pics. As you can tell, I could never make a living as a photgrapher! The looked okay on my laptop, but when I viewed them on my iPad, they looked really dark. The next time I try this, I'll try to use more natural light as one person suggested.
phil-east Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 thet looks great, i love a well done Lambo and that colour looks really nice.
