volksrods
Hi all. I was busy collecting and modifying diecast models before jumping into plastic model cars. Here is one of my diecast modifications. Color is L11 Pastel Green. Resin Porsche Fuchs wheels. Hope you like it. AzTom
Not my kind of wheels but the paint on that looks awesome. What scale is this and who made it? I had a real 1956 and want to make a replica of it someday. AzTom

cobraman
It's amazing how much slamming a car and changing the wheels and paint can improve a die cast. It looks very good.

SFRC
In which sense ? To my taste they are way too far in. The olive green on the other hand is very handsome.

SFRC
...I was thinking maybe the axel was narrowed so the tires would clear the fenders. In that case the rear axel should be narrowed as well.
volksrods
Thanks for kind comments guys Maarten, it is not quite possible to slam an early bug without narrowing its front beam. Have a look this thread. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=247735&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=
