Scuderia Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Looks good! I never tire of seeing these built up you did a nice job on this one.
Volvoman Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I like your Mustang a lot!! Very clean and nicely built, well done
peter31a Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Great build of this Mustang kit! Cool subject matter and a really clean build.
zenrat Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I've built one of these so I know what you went through. Which parts were warped? Good job on a tricky kit.
simonr Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Of course we like it,Danny...great model... Simón P. Rivera Torres
3men2s Posted July 31, 2012 Author Posted July 31, 2012 (edited) I've built one of these so I know what you went through. Which parts were warped? Good job on a tricky kit. To start, the floor pan, but with a hair dryer straiten as best as I could. The chassie was OK, The Boby also looked like it had a stroke, half of the car was droping, but with my hair dryer bend it back and it look strait now. Funny you say that, because if you look at the photo of the car in the box, you can tell how warped they are. instead of a road race car it looks like one of those hooper cars with the nose up. After you know how to correct those things, they are nice cars when finish. Edited July 31, 2012 by 3men2s
zenrat Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I must have got a good one - only had to straighten the body & the tailgate.
FatManScaleDesigns Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Not my cup of tea but I can appreciate any build that looks great and you sir have done a very nice job!
Davewilly Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I always like seeing these GTO /IMSA kits built...I have managed to pick up 2 of them lately...now I just have to build them! Nice job!
John Teresi Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Danny......very nice......I would like to try one of these one day......love it.
Dominik Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Well done Danny! Nice to see one build. Thanks for sharing! This kit remembers me, building my "7-eleven" in my childhood. It was a terrible kit and the result ...no words about it. If i look back i can say "hey, i was young at the age of ten..." , today i think, my skills are enough to get a better result than yesturday.
MsDano85gt Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Awsome man! You didn't sell me one on ebay did ya lol! Bought one built up, unfortunately the white paint has yellowed some, I've got my own to build tho! Wish me luck
eizzle Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 A what kit is this? I really like your build and I've always been a huge mustang fan.
3men2s Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 Revell, you can find them in ebay. the kit has been discontinued but there are still lots of them outthere.
