Forgive me for correcting you, but are sure you didn't mean to advise on K&S brass? That's the brass supplier (to my knowledge...) for the hobby.

Doh! John you are totally right, must be my dyslexia kicking in lol, thanks for the correction

To be honest, this is bloody awsome, you got me at the first valve cover you made!

Once I get a small mill and lathe, and am able to do half of what you have done, I'll be happy.

Great work!!!!

Ok ,I just spent the last hour looking at this build and I just like everyone else has been amazed, thrilled, and shocked at how darn impressive this build of yours is. Inspiration, love, and god only knows what is why we all love this hobby. It can be simple(snap) or experienced (lvl 3) but to be a museum piece is just out right crazy. Thank you for the opportunity to see this being built.

YUUUP! Still blown away by this! Just exceptional work going on here. Sorry if I missed it somewhere (there's alot to take in! ) but are you going to do the doors like the trunk?

Jason , thanks for the interest, I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am

thank you Jonathan

Haken, I appreciate you checking in

hi Kevin, thanks for keeping up with the build, I did play around with making metal doors, I made one from aluminum and one out of brass, I am not totally satisfied with either, as you can imagine it is extremely difficult, these doors have 3 body lines to match up, plus the curvature of the body and to fit in an opening perfectly on top of that is very very challenging to say the least, I have not givin up on the idea, but I have limited skills with this as with this entire build, I my have met my match! we will see

thanks Richard!

"Limite skills" he says. Pfft. Definitely a modest man, I'll give you that!

I guess we all have our limits Curt, but I'm not sure that I will give up just yet, time will tell, thanks for checking in

Bill, I've been watching this from the beginning. And every post continues to amaze me. I saw the engine at the show in Omaha last Oct and was truly impressed. I will be looking forward to seeing the finished build. I'm sure it will be impressive.

man I wish Chuck, you know how it is to start to get old and slow don't you?? :D

I'm experiencing it...old & slow, that is.

Nice work, Bill.

yea Chris, starting to get a little better at the soldering I think, switched to .015 silver bearing solder, I think it is easier to control, for me at least, thanks my friend

not a ground breaking update, just a little progress, finished up the rear trunk and wheel tubs by filling in the sides of the tubs, I think it's pretty much good to go
