'62 Buick Limo

I got a resin '62 Buick Limo a while back and built it for our clubs "Big BOPpres theme" I still need to do some BMF to it. But it's done for now until I can find the time to work on it again.

This is what I started with.

I used some of the custom parts from doner kit and here is how the Limo turned out.

I really didn't like the look of the custom front ends grill, so I cut the stock grill & headlights off of the stock bumber and used it. Much better look I think?

R&R, I think...I've seen them at shows and on eBay..wouldn't mind getting one myself, build it stock. It's based on a real vehicle, there is a black one pictured in an article in Collectible Automobile some years ago..

R&R, I think...I've seen them at shows and on eBay..wouldn't mind getting one myself, build it stock. It's based on a real vehicle, there is a black one pictured in an article in Collectible Automobile some years ago..

I got this one from Ron Andrews and at the time he said he was not making them anymore? My plan was to built it as a stock Buick Limo, but there was some side trim detail missing and I didn't think I could repair it to make it look right so I went with the custom way and removed the rest of the side trim.
