Longbox55 Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 On a related note, didn't the Bandit have a rebel flag license plate on the front of his car? In a way, yes. The plate on the front of Trigger was the Gerogia state flag, which has a small Confederate Battle Flag on it. Also, it's very common misconception that what is called the "Confererate Flag" or "Rebel Flag" was the official flag of the CSA. It was not. It originally was the Confederate Naval Jack. There were several variants that was used by the Confederate Army, but the original design was from the Navy.
Nick Notarangelo Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 and this is why I gave up TV cause it's just not worth it with all the remakes and reality shows
Draggon Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Have you ever heard her speak? She has the Lisa Douglas accent down cold! Yeah Harry, she does! Its just that she looks as much like Lisa Douglas as Alec Baldwin looks like Mr. Douglas.

Jon Cole Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Hollywood is really running low on any original thoughts... or plots.
Junkman Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Hollywood is really running low on any original thoughts... or plots. Hollywood just follows society, which in general is running low on any original thoughts... or plots.
timc Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I've never really been politically correct. It is what it is... history is history.... you see it how you want to see it... and every one has an opinion... It's history not hatred.

brad4321 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 That seems like a very good decision to me.
Joe Handley Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Kinda wondered about that after we got the newest diecast release of the General and they had a low tack and what appeared to be an easily removed orange sticker over the flag.
