Nice! Is that Testors Hugger Orange? I bought a can of it and have plans to do pretty much what you did with my COPO. I hope it comes out near as nice as yours.

Thanks for the comments guys! The color is Testors hugger orange with testors clear laquer wet sanded and polished out. I will post more builds in the future so keep your eyes open. I am looking forward to seeing more great builds on here by everyone else also.

Nice work Steven, just bought this kit too, hoping it will turn out as good as yours B)

Can someone tell me what is the color on the box art for this kit, is it a factory metallic green  ?

My I miss my 69 Nova. It didn't have a big motor but it was a nice one.

I keep seeing these cars and the fabulous builds you guys do.

I've got to get one...

Drivers of "sleepers" are

pink slip keepers!

The unwary may not notice that 427 fender badge till it's too late! Nice subtle build.

What did you use for the hard lines? What did you use to bend them like that?

I don't believe the Copo wore the SS badges either, but I was saving the other grill and rear panel for another project so I opted for the SS pieces. This kit does come with the dog dish caps and Red line decals which turned out really nice IMO. For the brake/fuel lines I used 28 gauge craft wire which is metal and easy to bend and retain its shape. I used small needle nose and tweezers for the bends.
