Revell '32 Ford Sedan. Kept it pretty simple. No wires or after market stuff. Only parts out of the box.

Paints; Body: Model Master Olive Drab

Grille and interior: Floquil Caboose Red

Wheels and engine: Rust-Oleum Bright Red

Frame and trim: Floquil Engine Black

Cleared with Model Master Semi-Gloss

White Walls hand painted: Floquil Reefer White and cleared with Model Master Matte Clear

Can't get a decent picture of it, but the shifter is a bent white topped "Bridal" pin and shifter boot is glue and paint formed paper towel. IMG_3403.jpgIMG_3401.jpgIMG_3399.jpgIMG_3397.jpgIMG_3398.jpg

I Like it a lot! Nice looking hot rod, just one thing, I have to say it....ahh never mind, I'm sure you already know. You had me at "no wires or after market stuff." B)

Thanks guys. A little on the paint scheme...originally I was going for a WWII aircraft theme, but gave up after not being able to find the decals I know I have somewhere. Was going to be called the "Flying Tiger" based on the P-40 Warhawk(see the pictures). Got the car all painted before I looked for the decals, couldn't find them, and just finished the model. Calling it done obviously.flyingtiger.jpgflying-tiger-four.jpg

I really like th color scheme. I like how you painted the cowl that flows into the body line. The model A tail lights are a cool touch. Well done.

At first, I wasn't too sure about the red radiator shell. Now that I see the inspiration for it, I totally get it.

Great job, Andy!

Thanks. I know what you mean about the red. The hood top, which I left off, is also red which I omitted. It was too much. It looks better without it anyway and the engine exposed.
