Jantrix Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) Happily to move it to a new place. We finally found a rental house in our neighborhood that suits our needs. I'll have a hobby room all to myself. However as it is anytime you move, there's always a ton of stuff to do before you can break out a project again. A lot of work ahead before the fun can begin. I'll post some pics as soon as the workshop is set up. Likely no internet for a while, but I'm sure you guys will get along fine without lil 'ol me. Be cool. Edited October 13, 2012 by Jantrix
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Good luck with the move. A lot of work, but I'm sure you'll be a lot happier with more dedicated modeling space.
Dr. Cranky Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Travel safe and I look forward to the new bench set up. Best wishes, DC
Guest G Holding Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Now you can find all those "missing" parts!
cobraman Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Good luck with the move Rob. I have moved several times in my life always saying " This is my last move". Hopefully the last one was indeed the last one. I am always surprised how much stuff you can pile up from one move to another. I always find stuff I forgot I had. Again, good luck with the move, I hope all goes smoothly.
Guest Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 That's good news Rob! You may be out of the hobby for a while, but I think when you do get back to building, you'll have a lot of new ideas to get you you started back up.
southpier Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 now you'll find all those parts under the bench!
Jantrix Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 Thanks guys. Now........................who wants to help me move?
slusher Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Glad you got a new place, you will find things you never thought you owned....
WigWag Workshop Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Good Luck on the move! I know the feeling, we bought our house last year, and now I have 2 hobby areas. Can't wait till I have enough money saved up, to start my dream Model Railroad layout. -Steven
crazyjim Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 When's the move? I'll be down that way the middle of next month.

Jantrix Posted September 12, 2012 Author Posted September 12, 2012 Thanks anywho Jim, we're gonna do it slow over then next couple of weeks. Yeah, I hear crickets too.
vwdave92 Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Hey Rob! I think we have both been playing musical houses for a couple of years now. When we moved I almost fainted backing up the bench. Couple of things I remember. 1. Kits both finished and unfinished take up A LOT of space. 2. If you put enough magazines and tiny paint jars in a box you can't lift it. 3. Moving the spray booth gets you and odd look from everyone helping. Good luck my man! Dave
Jantrix Posted October 13, 2012 Author Posted October 13, 2012 Well guys it's starting to look like a work area. I hope to be turning to here very soon.

crazyjim Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 No wonder we didn't see you at the MAGS show.
Jantrix Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 Yeah Jim, this past year hasn't been good for my modeling. Between work and home issues, I have not yet completed anything new since last year at MAGS. I'm not the kind of guy to bring the same models twice. Plus I was busy at home that weekend. I have decided to skip all contests until I have something new.
bandit1 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 congrats on the move....WARNING: keep your stuff out of "Harms" way!.... ...Dont ask! ...
