Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Just when you thought the fun was over. This one is done is way too many colors, certainly too many to keep track of but it's got Cortez Blue, Lilac, True Blue, and a little Purple with some blood in it, all from House of Kolor. The bling is PEARL EX and some large rainbo flakes for good measure. I used all sorts of lace too, and blue-pink marbelizer, and then new Mike Levalle BIOMECH templates. Those things are cool. INTRODUCING SPINAL TAP: These are the wheels that come with the kit and they look just fine . . . stay tuned in for more.
Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 Spine and bones and skulls, what else is there? LOL! Parts by Parks air cleaner, which is state of the art machining. I polished it a bit.
Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 Watch parts here and there and a box stock engine. Clean, no visible wiring. LOL! Model Car Garage flamed skulls on the tails . . . This has the be the mildest (subtle) weathered chassis and engine bottom I've ever done.
outragis Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Yes! this is over the top, not too far over, just perfect!
Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 HELLO CLEVELAND!!!! LOL! Okay, here it is, couldn't help it:
Harry P. Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Is this the one with the metalizer dash? I like that.
Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 Yes, it is. I love it too.It turned out so interesting that I am thinking it might be real cool to do on a hot rod. Do the body that way.
Harry P. Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I knew that because I watch your videos...
Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 I knew that because I watch your videos... LOL! You are watching over my shoulder.
Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 LOL, I found this dentist syringe and could not help continue with the Spinal Tap motif:

PARTSMARTY Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 LOOKS GREAT AS DOES EVERYTHING YOU DO.
Danno Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Well it's a nicely executed paint job, but WAY too busy for my taste. Still, a clean build.
Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2012 Author Posted September 16, 2012 Thanks, everyone. Danno, I agree, and I almost didn't build it but it got lucky in that I was already building another three, so one more would not have put the old doctor over the edge. I was trying out some of that marbelizer paint and although I like the effect, it does pile up a bit too much.
1930fordpickup Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Great looking Car ! Some of the best custom wheels out there.
Hawk312 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 You turned that paint job up to 11!!! Nice job!!
