Grzegorz
I present the curbside old revell bronco, this time I decided to create a competitor Suburban, just do not know what to call him, maybe F 400?
01blueedge
great job on the conversion. there was actually a place that converted the broncos to 4 doors and they where called centurion conversions
Fat Brian
Yep , they aren't terribly common but they are around. They look so good I'm surprised Ford didn't actually bring them into full production.
1972coronet
I remember seeing a fleet of 4 door Broncos at Downey Ford (Downey , Ca) in 1987 . They were a fleet order for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's Paramount station . They were all black with white front doors and roof ; "Custom" trim ( vinyl seats , black rubber mats , etc. ) ; Certified speedometer ; dual Unity spotlights ; plain wheels with hubcaps . I saw one in the junk yard in '92 or '

Agent G
Great looking build! The Coast Guard station, in St Louis of all places, had two of them. Nice nice vehicles. G
Danno
Yep , they aren't terribly common but they are around. They look so good I'm surprised Ford didn't actually bring them into full production. Ford built those in Mexico but not for US import due to EPA & safety regulations. Dodge also built a Ram in similar body configuration in Mexico. Regarding the few that made it into the USA, such as the LASD and Coast Guard vehicles, it was once possible for government and law enforcement agencies to get waivers of EPA and/or highway safety regs for certain special purpose vehicles on a very limited basis. But, like any good things, those days have been governmented away forever.
Fat Brian
Interesting, I had always thought a coach builder did the conversions. The only ones I've ever seen around here looked like civilian vehicles.
Casey
Ford built those in Mexico but not for US import due to EPA & safety regulations. Info source for that? As Brian said, Centurion is the company which custom built and modified the Ford shown above (as well as Chevy and Dodge, too), essentially stretching them. Dodge also built a Ram in similar body configuration in Mexico. Kind of...There was a Mexican-market Ramcharger type vehicle built from '99-'01, but it was a two-door:
martinfan5
Nice job on the build, I might have to give that a try myself. The other morning I was beside/behind a mid 2000's Ford F-350? six door, I am guessing that was a custom truck?
Maindrian Pace
The Centurions were converted in the US from 4dr F150s and F250s, with shortened frames to mount the Bronco rear body parts behind the rear doors. They were neat, and very expensive. I like this one: -MJS
1930fordpickup
There was a four door with an extended cab behind the second door running around Monroe MI for a few years . Have not seen it lately , it was also had the Centurion tag on the cab.

Jordan White
If you're asking how they made the 4 door Broncos, they basically just took a crew cab F-250 or F-350, cut off the bed and back of the cab, shortened the frame a bit, and added the back end of a Bronco. Centurion Customizers was the name of the company that did the conversions.
blubaja
Awsome!!! Used to see these type running around more often. Hope there's still some out there. Great build!
