40 Ford "load cars"

I decided to go ahead and build the cars for the tractor and trailer and this is what I came up with in the last two weeks.

I wanted a convertible ,but couldn't find the article to convert an AMT coupe, so I just started chopping. I looked at the Revelle body for reference.

I used the cover from the Revell kit and added a back seat.

The rest were straight from the box, well almost.

Building a lot of the same thing can get tiresome, but it was fun since I usually don't build anything stock.

Oh, the red one is for a special pursuit unit. Dual carbs, dual exhaust and radio communication.

Oh, Derick, I built pickups just none of the stock, except the tractor.

the tractor was the reason to build the "load".

Very cool group of '40 Fords. Really nice clean work. The Hot rod pick ups are right on!
