Austin T Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Pretty interesting take on the merc,I have never seen one like this before and I don't know why. It's just so cool.
plasticfrog Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Awesome saw it at the model show in STL today.
Foxer Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I'm amazed how short the fins make it look ... I DO like it!
Gluhead Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I have to admit that this one didn't grab me all that much on the bench, but the finished piece is pretty sweet...and that's a great green. What is it?
Lunajammer Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Billy, forgive me if I've said this before, but your modeling skills grow by leaps and bounds. As good as your skills have been in the last couple years that I've been tuning in, each project you do enters all new territory. I love the classic cruiser styling cues of this one and it's really well executed. Nice work.
slusher Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Beautiful build and great color and finish...WOW...

I've been watching your building since you started showing up over on the neighbor's site, and you just keep getting better and better. You've definitely got talent, and you're turning it into exceptional skill. Great work. Edited October 29, 2012 by Ace-Garageguy
surfjunke Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Very cool Merc! Like the unique custom touches & that paint.
BKcustoms Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 Wow thanks for all the compliments! I really appreciate all the great feedback. Gluhead, the greem came from http://www.paintwithpearl.com/. it's their lime Green candy pearl with some pearl ex gold and yellow mixed in and sprayed over a black base. The flames are DuPont gold EFX pearl topcoated with more green to blend them in.
