Custom display case

Hello everybody.

Just wanted to show the new display I've been making at work in my spare time. Got it stained tonight, will get varnshed in the morning.

I'll get some more pics of it tonight after I get to KC. It's 12" wide, 18" long, and 12" tall. It's gonna be in it's first show tomorrow.

Don't know what I was thinking. It's 20" long instead of 18. Am thinking of buiding a hinged, plexiglass top for it so it's covered and keeps the dust out.

Nice design and good workmanship.

I'd definitely recommend building some kind of cover, hinged or not, to keep dust off.

You've got some talent, building those models. Very nice job on the cabinet too. Now the other thing, you gotta sand/primer and paint your house...LOL

It didn't cost me anything. I build custom cabinets, and it's made of scrap stuff that's too small to use
