About once a month I go to a really neat hobby shop about 120 miles from home.

Today my haul included:

Revell-AG Neoplan Cityliner bus. (that box is HUGE!)

Revell-AG 1/16 1950 VW Beetle.

Airfix "Doctor Who" Tardis. (what can I say - my 21 year old daughter wouldn't let me leave without it)

Trumpeter '60 Pontiac Bonneville

MPC Chevy Monza, ca. 1978. (old stock, old price)

Johan '70 Olds 442. (ditto)

AMT/Model King Ford F350 pickup.

Half a dozen back issues of MCM.

Five cans of Testors paint.

Fun, fun, fun........

I picked this up today for $17.00. A friend just opened a new LHS here in town.

I have never built a JoHan kit..so this should be interesting....

I have already emailed Fred Cady about finding some stock stripes...

As soon as I get my return in I will be making a trip up to Charleston to Hobby Town USA with a portion of my "allowance" from it.

This past week I got 3 new releases--the Revell '64 Ford Fairlane 2n1, '68 Bullitt Mustang, '08 Mustang Bullitt. Also, some resin parts from a few casters (some hoods, wheels, Modelhaus chrome for '72 and '73 Dusters) and one old kit--an MPC '27 Lincoln 2dr convertible....I had the AMT issue of the MPC '28 Lincoln phaeton, didn't realize the 2dr version existed until I stumbled upon it cheap. I've dabbled in the classic cars for years, not my main focus though, I do like them.

Not modeling related, but looking forward to Barrett-Jackson this week..probably going to go either Friday evening or next Saturday. It was great last year, will be interesting to see how it is this year.

Walked out after spending $70+ with two kits and some supplies under my arm...

Grabbed the new '60 Starliner and a '62 Catalina 421SD, both excellent kits.

I got the Revell Muscle series 1969 Dodge Charger (Better platform for the General Lee), 2006 Concept Camaro, sheets of plastic, U-Channel strips and square stripes (Plastic). Will be getting a couple diecast NASCARs and a Linberg Charger from evilBay. Placed an order for some paint from Testors.
