Got this in the mail today....

It comes with a removable cooler in the bed, and when you open it up, it has beer on ice.... The decals are in decent shape, so I may build it box stock, with the exception of a tire change.

I got Swine Flu!

Oh, right, model car related topic...

I picked up two more AMT '29 Model A roadsters and a '41 Plymouth (can't have too many of those), a box full of parts, with a '61 Pontiac Promo grille and some old Annual kit custom parts being the most interesting things. I also got two Revel-o-gram engine parts packs- the Cadillac and Pontiac V-8's. I passed up yet another AMT Ford Courier kit because it was the Flareside version... I wish those Monroe Magnum versions were easier to come by!

On the other hand... those 1960's Lincoln promos I'm always seeking still elude me. One o' these days...

i have the blue version of the Coors truck called the Rebel Courier. same basic thing but without the cool Coors front bumper! :(

Dave

I've seen that truck before. Does it have the cooler in the bed? I can't remember. Post some pics of it, I'd like to see it again.

I got two of the Testor's "Those Famous Fords" kits from 1977. I got the GT40 Mk II and a GT40 Mk IV. Only one had the engine block glued together. Other than that, they were complete and unbuilt!

here is the "Rebel"! :P found this on Ebay one time while looking for just cool, old and interesting kits. no one wanted it? i was the lucky lone bidder and i have to say, the rest of you that passed don't know what you are missing! the bed has the same cooler full of iced beer as the Coors version.

Dave

Same here. I was the only bidder for the Coors kit. Cost me a total of $20.00 with shipping.

Nice kit Dave. Do you plan to build it? If you do, let me know about any problems with it.

this Stagea kit is pretty cool. it comes with PE scripts for the car and PE spokes for the bike as well as some astro turf for a grass display..and yes the roof "Jet Bag" is included as well as the bike rack.

Oh, no, Dave... I WANT one of those. I mean the AMT Flareside Courier is the one I pass up every time. Now, I wouldn't mind the "Bush Baby" version with Four wheel drive, but the mid '90's Courier Flareside had the 2wd setup from the Monroe Magnum version- those things seem to be falling out of the sky!

I'd love to see the AMT Courier kit reissued, with BOTH beds and BOTH drivetrain setups in ONE box!

I would REALLY love to see the Rebel reissued, as well.

got my box of goodies today from Zukiholic! thanks a ton Rodney! thanks to him i've finally gotten a Fox bodied Capri. the Warlock is destined for off-road racer greatness with a special hood i've been hanging onto for just such a build. the gold wheels included in that kit are awesome though and i'll put them to good use on another Dodge truck. the circle track stuff is more for my madness lately for anything i can build into local level short trackers. the little D50, well i just have a thing for the lifted version of that kit! could be from growing up in the 80's ;)

Dave

Yaaa

It got there and I packed the right stuff.

I was in such a hurry, I didn't triple check

The box kept growing.

ya know, back in the days, I use to put the date and price on the bottom of the boxes.

I think I had that Warlock for almost 20yrs :D

That's Okay, I got a spare

I'm glad you like them cause I surely love mine :D

Same thing.... different day Scott....

I used to work for Kay Bee toys.... I think I worked there just to get the employee discount! I wish I still had half of the kits that I got from there.... I'd be a millionaire! B)

ok, are they hard to get? and do they have another one?

I haven't seen any online, but I don't know if Riverside can order another. Aoshima makes the RB20DETT for the Cefiro and the RB26DETT for the R32 Skyline, both can be interchanged because they share the same chassis.
