Kenny B
I'm new to this site, what a lot of nice builds out there. I thought that I should show a few of my 1/12 scale 69 Camaro Z/28 that I built. This took me about 230 hours and almost a year to build. Kenny B. Custom Mike
Kenny, this is absolutely stunning, the last picture of the interior looks like you're looking into the real car! I have one of these too, and I've gotta know, how did you get the steering wheel to look so perfectly accurate, and where did you get the houndstooth decals/inlays/whatever you used for the seats? Kenny B
Wow, Thanks to everyone for your wonderful comments your making my head swell. It was fun to build, I really took my time and research to make sure it was as close as possible. I didn't want to look at it after and say I should have did this or that.(if you know what I mean) The hounds tooth interior wasn't hard at all. Google, hounds tooth and you will get the pattern. Cut and paste it to any office program ,copy and paste a total of 6 of them put them in a rectangle shape and increase or decrease the size to fit the scale you are doing. The antenna is telescoping and made from medical supplies. The emblems are photo etched from MCG (I think it was). Or one more thing I forgot to tell you. I have two of them.... Kenny B
Thanks everyone. The hugger orange one was the first one that I built out of the two of them. I would like to redo it with hounds tooth and photo etched emblems as well. That means repainting....maybe later. Thanks again. Kenny B. AZ Boy
WOW! Both are are outstanding Kenny! Making a "clean" build is that much more difficult when dealing with 1/12th scale models, and yours are flawless in that area. Beautiful work, Sir!
