Sport Suburban
I really havn't taken the time to show any of my builds this year. I'm sorry for that and I took some time to take the photo's. I'm trying to better my photography and am learning the camera settings. The white ballance is off so these look somewhat pink. This is the Revell 53 Corvette converted into a 55 using the engine from the Revell 56 Nomad and some parts from the Revell 59 Corvette. I used the photoetch from Model Car Garage to finish this one off. I'm real happy with this one.

Bartster
Turned out real nice. I've always loved early Vettes, but you're right, gotta have a V-8 ! Pretty model.

rmvw guy
It turned out great, I think I remember this one "on the workbench". Nice conversion, that engine looks at home in there. I think I like it better then the AMT offering, I may attempt one some day. Congratulations on a great model.

sjordan2
Really, really nice. And I agree that the PE headlight guards basically save the look of this kit.

Sport Suburban
Thanks for all the love on this build. I had an AMT 55 Corvette but didn't really care for it. So I thought I would see about turning one of the Revell kit's I had into a 55. It was easier than I thought and came out nice! Now I just have to build the 53 and 54 versions to go along with this. I have allready bought the Pennant Blue for the 54 from scalefinishes.
