Sport Suburban Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 This is the last build I finished for 2012. This is the Revell 2010 Shelby GT500. I built this one right out of the box. This is a really nice kit that I have to build another one soon. I think I'll have to do a 2011 GT500 convertible kitbash. I would love to see Revell do the 2011-2013 Shelby GT350 with this kit!! Can you tell I did a few red cars this year. I still have to finish the 55 Chevy Belair pace car I started when I painted four kits red.
Erik Smith Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Nice clean model. Paint looks beautiful - and a great color. I only have one red model - guess I need to branch out a little...
Austin T Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Very nice job,I recently won this kit in a raffel.Guess I need to build it.
Johnny1973 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Awesome job on the Shelby. What color did you use for the wheels?
Scuderia Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 That's serious business! Perfect, that's great stuff.
Sport Suburban Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 For the wheels I used Testors Model Master Graphite Met #2712 .5 oz bottle airbrushed on.
Dyno Davo Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Super clean build, paint looks miles deep, well done
jrherald420 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Nice, how were the decals? I'm doing the 1/12 scale GT500 right now and the decals are funky and they seem brittle.
ChevyCoupe41 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I like this alot!! Paint job and all details are fantastic and engine room is my favourite on this build! NiIce Job! This is one of those kits what I have to buy on this year because i had lots of fun with that '07 Shelby what i build last year.
kilrathy10 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Excellent work, my friend...Excellent work...
