Ron35369 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 This is an original screw bottom annual that I finished late last year. I painted it with 1961 Olds Tropic Mist poly & multi colors on the interior. I think these Bonnevilles look so good dropped so I added Pegasus wheels & set it in the weeds. Hope you enjoy.
charlie8575 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Very nice job on that interior. That's the one thing I really dread about the Pontiacs of that vintage. What did you use for colors in it? Nicely done. Charlie Larkin
Erik Smith Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Great work. Very nice looking model. I love the color and the interior paint looks good. Smooth.
Dr. Cranky Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 A real beauty of a model. Thanks for sharing.
JasonFL Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I really like that interior and those wheels look great on this car with it dropped down. Clean build, nice job.
impcon Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 That colour looks absolutely so right on that car!!!! It never fails to make me smile when I see an old model brought back to life and when it a quality build like yours, it makes it even better!! The colour looks like when the car was designed, the guy doing the drawings had it already picked out and he designed the car around the colour. Nice job.. vERY nice!!!
Guest Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 That is one sharp looking Bonneville Ron! Nice work on the interior and the color suits it perfect!
Ron35369 Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 Thanks again for the great comments. Charlie had asked what colors I used on the interior. Unfortunately I didn't write down the colors I used, I just searched through the couple hundred bottles of Delta Acrylic paints I have & picked out three that i thought would go together & compliment the exterior color.
Sixties Sam Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Great job on the Bonnie! Great paint, interior, and foil work! It's good to see those old kits being built up like this! Sam
rustybill1960 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Well, You certainly have an eye for colors Ron!! That is one very impressive interior Man!! Thank You for sharing Later Russ
David G. Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Nice work! The chrome trim looks especially nice. David G.
Simon Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Beautiful paint! As said above, the stance is perfect too.

You did a remarkable job! Those colors, from what I've seen, are very, very close to the factory Morrokide. Charlie Larkin
Ron35369 Posted January 30, 2013 Author Posted January 30, 2013 Thank you again for the nice comments. I have to say this Bonnie was one of my favorite builds of last year. I will have more "classic" kits for you to see this year. Charlie, I was going for just that look when I picked the interior colors. The only one I might have changed was the dark green on the floor & dash...I think could have been a little more towards blue-green. I'm very happy though that you all like my builds. I'll try not to dissapoint in the future.
IMPALA SS 427 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Usually i object to the "dropped" looking 60's cars, i don't think it looks that good... BUT this seems sooo right with the colour ,stance and rims it just all makes it perfect. I think it looks beautiful.
