afx
This was the lightest production 911 ever built (less than 1800 lbs). Gerald Larrousse drove this car to 3rd place in the '70 Tour de France Rally finishing only behind two Matra V-12 prototypes. Kit: Fujimi Enthusiast 911R - modified Paint: Tamiya Chrome Yellow Decals: DMC Edited July 17, 2015 by afx

Chillyb1
That is one very cool subject. Excellent job adapting the Fujimi kit and excellent detail work. Where did the decals come from? Too bad they don't recreate those groovy numbers on the door.

I don't belive it every raced with the funky number just the block style.
jaymcminn
Sooo nice- great decal work and overall detail. I'm just starting a build of the Testors/Fujimi '73 Carrera RS now. It's going to be built in the "outlaw" style... sort of a 911 hot rod. Are the louvered rear windows on your 911R kit items or aftermarket? I drilled the front side vents windows and the rear glass.

Modelmartin
Great job on an iconic car! I wish Fujimi would have changed their tooling on the long hood cars and given us the twin batteries in the nose!
