Porscheman Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Another one of my replica stocks. I had this one as a kid, but did the old firecracker bomb to it and regretted it ever since. When AMT / Model KIng reissued this a couple I brought 5 of them.Nice model of a big land yault. Al
slusher Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 That looks sharp Al, you have some great models...
mangodart Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Just gorgeous, I'm a big fan of Imperial, have a lot to build !!! The colors you choose are just perfect for it !!!!!
bbowser Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Great model! I just got this kit as a gift over the holidays, hope I can make it look that good. Love the big boats.
Dominik Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Hi Al, looks realy good in black-silver! Beautiful car. Just an hour ago, i took mine out of the shelf and took a look...but no motivation to work on it. And now, i see yours....pretty cool! Changig my mind? Who knows... What do think about making better pictures with another background of your cars? All of them i've seen yet looking well! I think they work with a neutral background is many times better. Perhaps, you will try it?
Guest Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Beautiful! Want to trade one of your unbuilts? PM me.
realgone58 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Beautiful Imperial! Love your builds! Dominik is right about the pics. I've had much better luck shooting them outdoors in the sunlight.
vintagercr Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Al, that looks great. I hate to admit it, but that's the reason I don't have any of my kits from the 60's. The met their death by firecrackers.
gtx6970 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Al, that looks great. I hate to admit it, but that's the reason I don't have any of my kits from the 60's. The met their death by firecrackers. I think we must have lived on the same street. I can only wonder how much stryene melted in our ft yard back then
charlie8575 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 The stainless steel canopy against the black looks very nice. Well done. Charlie Larkin
IMPALA SS 427 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 An unusual styled and shaped car, yet its so cool, i like how it turned out...
Porscheman Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Thank you guys. The paint on this one is actually a real deep midnight blue. Even in person, it's hard to tell. Al
CEKPETHO BCE Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Looks great. Looking at that model I feel like I need to get me couple of those kits.
Sixties Sam Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Great looking Imperial! Great paint and foil work. Those cars were huge! Sam
