Mauricio Meyer Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) Hi! This is my last finished model. It's a restortation, because a year ago it accidentally flyed and got the paint terribly damaged. Hope you like it. The new paint is testors metalizers and the clear is Sherwin Williams urethane. I decided to open the engine cover: The engine cover window was craked during the restortation, as soon as i get a replacement i'll change it. By the way, this is how it used to look: Better or worse??? you choose Thanks for looking! Edited April 3, 2013 by Mauricio Meyer
Nacho Z Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Shoot, I like them both! I have to give the edge to the restored one. That is a very clean build. The panel lines look great as does the engine bay. Nice job!
Monty Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Clever idea using Metalizer as body paint. Nothing wrong with the original, but I really like the new version much better. Nicely done!
Webb Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Both look very good, but I've always been partial to silver.
Tompidom Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 It looked fantastic before and it looks just as good after!
