AC Norton Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 (edited) hello,. my first time posting photos or info on a model site...seems fun, i should say. anyhow, this amt 64 vette is the prestige series 63 kit...but i had an original 64 hood lying around, so i used it instead. built as a mid to late 60's sports production class piece, i wired the ignition with black stock wiring,..that the photos may not show so well....and other than a few goodies, its fairly box stock. oh, the 2 tone is tamiya pure white and brilliant orange spray,...with tamiya gloss pearl coat . decals are old mix of bits and pieces from my stash,..and i guess thats it. any questios or comments are most welcome . enjoy, regards, a.c. the ace. Alan Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 (edited) AC, VERY nice build of a much over look class car, Please post more of your door slammers.. What kit did the wheels come from? Alan Edited April 13, 2013 by Alan
AC Norton Posted April 13, 2013 Author Posted April 13, 2013 hello and thanks both bill and alan for your kind comments. to answer alans question re. wheels on this piece, they are from an original annual 64 amt vette coupe, that i am presently building as a team car to accompany this one. they are considered a custom wheel , but are similar to that of some eelco, fentons and e/t wheels of that 64- 70 era. they are painted a humbrol mix of metals in the dark areas, and humbrol metal cote aluminun on the spokes. i'm working on some cars, alan, and when completed i will post pics of them. thanks again, email anytime, regards, alf.
Alan Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Thanks for the info, they are AMT , I should have those Do you have a photo sharing site where one can see your builds?
