Ford guy Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Great build mangodart. Impressive. What paint did you use on the body? I had a '76 Dodge Coronet the same color several years ago. Very cool.
fury3 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Impressive modifications and details given to a not to steller of a kit. I've never seen anyone perform the proper modifications necessary (as you have done) to make this kit presentable...especially the rear bumper/tail lamps mods. Take a well deserved bow, my friend! mangodart Posted April 13, 2013 Author Posted April 13, 2013 Thank you, Ford Guy, the color I used came from an automotive spray can, and I don't really know which color car it is suppose to duplicate. Dave, good to hear from you !!!
mangodart Posted April 20, 2013 Author Posted April 20, 2013 Funny to see that only 3 weeks after posting my Monaco, 2 or 3 new ones build stock appears here, it would be fun to make a pictures off all together
IMPALA SS 427 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I love seeing 4 doors, it looks great with the vinyl top, nice build
Jeff B Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Thanks, sorry but what is "mud flaps" ?? Mangodart, Mud flaps mount to rear edge of a fender and prevent mud and road debris from kicking up. TV screen optional.
mangodart Posted May 7, 2013 Author Posted May 7, 2013 Thanks !!! Thanks for your explanation about the "Mud Flaps" Jeff B, Have to think about it for the next build !!!
spkgibson Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 VERY nice job on this! The color is perfect, the interior matches it GREAT, and you have a VERY nice clean way of building! VERY nice!!!!What did you use for the main body color? I love this car.excellent build!
om617 Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Good looking Monaco. It`s nice to see wagons and 4doors on here.
Mopar - D Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Nice build of this Monaco I've thought of building one the same way family stock.
Rob Hall Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 (edited) Sharp build..nice to see one of these built stock instead of as a police car. Edited August 9, 2014 by Rob Hall
Jeff Johnston Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Looks like something that would roll down the street in my hometown in the 70s. Full of kids with no seat belts on HAHA That is seriously a very nice convincing conversion. Well done !
landman Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 C'est beau ça Emmanuel. Very nicely thought out and executed conversion. Félicitations!!
mangodart Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 What did you use for the main body color? I love this car.excellent build! Thanks for the nice comments, this build is really one of my favorite from last year !!! The paint I use is from an automotive spray can I bought here in France so even if I give you the ref number, I'm not sure you could find it in your country
