The Modeling Hermit Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 This is my latest project. I started with a 61 Ford 2 door hardtop, and made a couple of minor alterations. 1961 Ford Galaxie 4 door sedan.
Sixties Sam Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Great conversion, nice color scheme. The photos look good with the backdrop and the figure. Nice work! Sam
Gramps2u Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Makes me feel like I am watching a 1961 Ford Motor company commercial!Nice work.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Looks great!!!! The conversion work is very good, and the colors are great also.
The Modeling Hermit Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 Bob, you gave me an idea, so I thought I'd play with it, and do an old type ad. I checked through my collection of auto ads, and came up with this wording.
charlie8575 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Nice job with that, Doug, especially the "ad." Where'd you find the figure? Charlie Larkin
W-Machine Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 A couple of minor alterations? You did more than that! I like seeing four-doors and wagons in scale, and yours came out very nicely.
The Modeling Hermit Posted May 3, 2013 Author Posted May 3, 2013 Charlie, sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but I've had these figures for awhile, and couldn't remember except that they came from ebay. I finally found the source. It's ronald6386 on ebay. He has a lot of "common folk" figures. Thanks everybody for the kind words on this one.
