Lyle Willits Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Built as an old drag car, found and restored for the street. Used a lot of the Stacy David kit and Reps & Mins resin body. Wheels are from the Orange Crate, painted magnesium color.
sjordan2 Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Very nicely done. I bet some outdoor shots would make it look like the real thing.
1930fordpickup Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Once again Lyle posts some nice eye candy photos for us.
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 A chopped A coupe has to be one of the best looking real hot rods on earth. Very nice.
TooOld Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Super nice chopped Model A ! Great detailing if the engine and the wheel / tire choice works perfectly on it !
vintagercr Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Nice build and I agree that if you shot pics of it outside, it would look like the real thing
realgone58 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 I love it! Really like the semi-flat blue with some primer peeking through.
horsepower Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 All it needs to look like a fresh "barn find" is a little hay & some "chicken droppin's" lol. Nice little A-Bone though!
Bernard Kron Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) Exquisite!!! Artful use of Rat Roaster bits. And the patina of the paint is stunning. Is that chopped A-Bone coupe a new piece from RepMin? I wasn't aware of it. A must have if it is... Big labor saver! Especially with the proper trim in place. And as long as I'm in an inquiring frame of mind, what's the source for the cool wheels? slusher Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Very nice build Lyle, just right not over done. Nice choice on the wheels...

Bernard Kron Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 It says in the original post that the wheels are from the "Orange Crate" & painted magnesium. Oops! How embarassing... I read but I did not retain...
