checkmate Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Here's my next project, it's a resin FJ Holden van kit. The kit is from Majestic Resin Australia and comes as virtually a complete kit. I thought I better put one together to evaluate how well they fit and use it as a chance to re-engineer any parts if we need to, to make it more "user friendly". Cheers Rob. Here's what the kit contains: Mocked up, not sure what wheels I'll run yet. Coat of primer on her, stay tuned...... 1
checkmate Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 Good looking truck ... tell us a little about the 1:1. The FJ Holden was Holden's second model, their first was released in 1948. They were powered by 6 cylinder engines and were a reliable old work horses, FJ vans are fairly rare these days but there is still a few originals and custom ones on our roads. Here's a pic of an original one. (except for the widened wheels) And a modified one.
FASTBACK340 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 And a modified one. WOAH!!!!! That's seriously bad-ass!
