Here's a link to the latest Holden HSV Commodore GTS, for those unaware of Holden or HSV, Holden is the Australian GM brand and HSV is Holden Special Vehicles.

Holden manufactured the 2004 Pontiac GTO's that were exported to the states, apparently according to some sources Australia is the only country in the world that still wants V8 RWD cars.

Holden are also the makers of the new Chevrolet SS sedans, they're a rebadged SS Holden Commodore.

We had a 2002 VY SS Commodore and it use to get 10Litres per 100kilometres which I think is pretty good for a 5.7 Litre V8 auto.

The LS series motors really get up with a little "tweaking"

My painter has a 05 like this one, Foose wheels,a bit of carbon fiber, and a small power adder by Novi...

A real surprise....very streetable, as it is his wifes daily driver

I don't care for the "new" grill / fascia.....looks like a lexis

I soooooo want the new GTO. Sadly finances won't allow it right now. I'm sure once I can pay today's prices, tomorrow's will be much higher. These will have to be a major collector's item.

Here's an older model ute from here, it's a VU Holden ute with twin turbo's. Bit more grunt than a HSV too.

Can't get a NEW GTO as they AND Pontiac Motor Division NO longer exist! TRY to find a used one at a reasonable REALISTIC price. I on my THIRD 95 Impala SS. One was hit by a drunk old woman, it's replacemant was STOLEN out of a GM Plant PARKING LOT, and IT's replacement STAYS in my garage. it JUST turned 99,000 miles. It's a GREAT car, and it's my last hot rod.
