just tell anyone that asks, that it's one of those new-fangled "drive-by-WiFi" set ups but you have to plug in yer iPhone to make it work. :D

but seriously, how about having the fenders stay attached to the chassis and have the hood/cabin part pivot upward with the hinge inside the front of the hood. this would require gluing the hood to the cab and bracing it for the extra load but it may reduce your cabling/steering problems.

so meany ideas and only one body to try them with.the fenders /hood idea would not give that much more room ,but i like the input thanks ,i,m going to try the tilting cab idea will spend time to marrow working on it ,i,ll try and get pics as i go ,thanks every one for the feed back ,

I seen a lot of coe's with the motor behine the cabs I would have use just a stock block and heads them flat/hemi head would be cooler in a hotrod car

That is looking wicked Blair! I wouldn't spend any time making the cab tilt, I think it's just perfect with the hood open. The engine is very visible and cool in it's own right!

This is an awesome build! I have always loved COEs shiny, but the rusting is perfect and fits this well!

On the flatbed , I would weather it, but then take some graphite and rub it on the areas where tires from cars being loaded and unloaded would rub and make the metal used but shiny from wear ...
