The "joystick" shifter and the B-17 steering wheel are scratched. The seats, center of the dash and the e-brake came from a Mini.

I'm real proud of my license plate. It could read "An F4U" (Corsair) or "Enough for you" :D (For you non-Virginia folks, that is the National Air and Space Museum tag with the SR-71 Blackbird on it.

Because they want to. It's thier build. ;)

Thank you for that expansive reply! I'm just asking cause I've seen builds that replicate a 1:1 car and then when you view the chassis, the frame rails are black. And then when they went to all the trouble to getting the car correct as can be, one sees that mess up. Granted this is a custom setup. But still the frame rails are part of the body.

Very nice work, where can one find these wheels? Thanks

The wheels came from an old NASCAR kit, AMT "Maxwell House Thunderbird". They were the closest I could find to Corsair wheels.

Thanks, Philip, for posting a photo of the aircraft (nice build BTW). I thought it would be fun to paint a car in this color scheme, and the Charger worked just right for me. I didn't even have to mask anything, the body lines automatically separated the colors.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.
