Speaking of danno, and Jonathan too, we met Saturday at a Phoenix model swap meet.

Here are the usual suspects posed as planned.

Earle these were from an old Chimneyville sheet I received from danno.

Try this guy

http://pcdforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1604 he seems to be highly reccommended in the diecast world or JBOT decals.

Sorry for the late reply I was out of town.

Thanks...I totally forgot about Mike. I always thought his price was high for decals but I know he always runs specials a few times a year also. VR Earle

Nice looking backdrop to a couple of those pix, G! L  L.

It was sooo good to see you and Mrs. G. Been too long.

Hope you had a good time, an enjoyable visit to Snotsdale, and a safe trip back home!

I know I told you . . . and I've mentioned it before, but it bears mentioning again . . . but that is a beautiful little rendition of a NVHP Mustang!!

Good luck with that Tahoe and those Caprices. I expect to see them done, too, in November!

Til next time, Keemo Sabe!

very nice!! I always thought though if the fox law enforcement cars the 10 hole wheels were painted black with aluminum center caps?

Some, but not all.

Thank you all.

danno that backdrop just wouldn't stay still. I had to photograph the scene as it was.

Duane those are Chimneyville decals which I believe are now out of production.

LVMPD never had 'stangs as far as I know, but the decals are readily available from Bill Bozo and several other sources.

Look here under decals.

Dan,

The 10 holes were painted black in 87 and 88, after that they were left aluminum. Nevada painted their black wheels the same dark blue as the rest of the car during those years. HTH.

The USAF had the wheels painted Air Force blue on the later model Mustangs as well.

Hmmmm guess what's next?

;)

Thank you all for the comments.

Thank you all!

This kit is one of the most enjoyable builds I have had in a while. I've done two now and plan on at least two more.
