Harry P. Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 (edited) What do you think? The answer: MODEL! Edited November 2, 2007 by harrypri
VictorSmalls Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Model The brick drive is a dead give away IMO.
Modelmartin Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 The tires, headers and interior look a little too cheesey for a real one. Guessing model.
parki Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I'm gonna say model. Just doesn't look real to me.
owen Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Going with model, for two reasons that I'll hold off on until Friday (dead giveaway in my opinion, which will make me look pretty darn silly if I'm wrong yet again )
ABC Auto Industry Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 This is a tricky one. The rear wheels aren't chrome-shiny, but the rest of it looks real. So difficult...
seboam Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Going with model due to a couple of reasons.I always second guess myself on these!!
lonewolf Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 I'm gonna go with model this time. I'm only 2 for 8 so far so I gotta gain some ground. I think I'm right?
dub Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 This is a pretty tough one, but there are a few dead giveaways......... Me like this one!!! ;) Oh, and glad to see you back, Harry!
camaroman Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 (edited) I say real! Edited October 30, 2007 by camaroman
kelson Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 i'm gonna say real ,engine wiring looks 1:1 as does the whole engine.
Fisher61 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Oh, your good Harry, But I'm going with model ( a large scale at that ) ! Looks very real though !
62rebel Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 i'll say real.... real good model! i tried to pick out the details but my 'puter barely does ANYTHING i tell it to. the front wheels look heavy in the spokes; i can't see if the carbs have any linkage. the headers look odd BUT and this is a big 'un, the chrome actually looks burnt blue. the seat looks handmade, and if my upholsterer couldn't do a straight line i'd fire him. i'll even go so far as to hazard a guess that it's the Lindberg T rod with lotsa aftermarket parts. the plug wires look good, TOO good; even on my real cars they don't lay down like that!
gbdolfans Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Going with model on this one.For several reasons.
VW Dave Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I say 'model' this time, looks like a big scale one, and I'm pretty sure that's one of those functional V8's to boot.......R/C maybe?
Harry P. Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 I say 'model' this time, looks like a big scale one, and I'm pretty sure that's one of those functional V8's to boot.......R/C maybe? Exactly right! It's 1/4 scale (!!!) Next ROM coming MONDAY!
ABC Auto Industry Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I knew it had to be a model! Those rear wheels gave it away. If it were a real car, they would've been polished.
