Hi Fellas!

My latest finished build, AMT '62 Ford Thunderbird. First this was supposed to be completed to Cannonball Run 2012 but as you can see I'm a little late. Body is painted by using spray paint what is manufactured by Motip. Color code is 41410. After it was clear coated and dry I polished the body by 12 000 sand paper and waxed the whole body. Interior is painted using brush and the color is Revell SM 330. Interior floor is Flocked. Engine is box stock except plug wires and fuel line. Chassis is also box stock. Nothing more to tell so here's some pics.

What a beautiful build of a beautiful car Matti. I don't know how many of those T-Birds I had back-in-the-day when those kits were plentiful, but I don't have any built up right now. I'd be careful about waxing as 1:1 body shops do not recommend waxing before 45 days after painting as it may still be "gassing" out.

It looks great!! I remember when I built mine, it was a pain to fit the door panes inside the body. I'm not a fan of the touneaou cover tough. I painted mine, but never cared much to the way it made the car to look like.

That looks great. Red/red looks nice on the early 'Birds, and that rocketship styling looks especially nice in it. I'm toying with doing mine in green.

Thanks Guys! :)

Tulio: I had that same problem with door panels but after using lots of power they fitted inside the body. :D

Harry: I dont know how that front end is so high because everything is on their places as they should be.
