Pat Minarick Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) I found a Deal Wheels 57 Chevy in a box of parts , most of it was missing and lots of glue damage . I used part of the chassis for my Car-toon Corvette gasser , leaving me just the body , interior panel and the figure. I remembered the Jim Croce song ( Rapid Roy that stock car boy ) ,And had an Idea .Just getting a start on it,glued a couple of old slicks together for the rear tires .Not sure what all I'm going to do to it ,but I will try to add all the little details from the song. bisc63 Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Lookin' kooooool! Just a thought; since you're going for the stock car look, maybe all four wheels/tires the same size?
ScrappyJ Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 That is a really cool idea and you're off to a great start, Pat! I think you're nailing it right on. Love the bumpers, exhaust and the way it sits.
