Furiousgeorge Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Well, I figure its time to put a few builds up. These I did a few years ago, and are among my favorites. Though hard to see in my cruddy iPhone pictures, they're riddled with mistakes (they were test beds for various things), but I like 'me all the same. The GTX is Tamiya Bronze, the Dart is Tamiya rattle can Candy Lime Ice, and the Charger is Tamiya Gunmetal Grey. All comments welcome!
Jeremy Jon Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Looks good Trent, very clean builds, nicely done!
TooOld Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 They all look great ! Very clean and nicely detailed , I like the use of diodes for fuel filters .
PappyD340 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 NICE, NICE, & NICE!! 3 great looking builds Trent!!
Furiousgeorge Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 Thanks for the comments guys! It means alot considering the talent pool here far exceeds my own. I'm hoping to get back to the bench soon, we're redoing the basement so the hobby room is packed full of stuff. Just been collecting kits, which is a hard habit to break!
realgone58 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Nice looking Mopars! I love your engine bays.
Dominik Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Trent, who did not collect more kits than he could build? I broke my hunting and collecting (hard work)-...it hurts one time, but now i feel much better Like your detailwork on the engines! Looking fine. The GTX has the same color like my convertible i built time ago. Like it most
crazyjim Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Shiny :) , SHINY :) , and SHINY :) . I like them.
Mopar - D Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Great job Trent on all 3 MOPAR's I like the Charger the best and your engine compartments just look so real.
Furiousgeorge Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 Thanks! The engines are where I typically spend the most time. The next Roadrunner I do (got a few on the go), I'll have to add some more hoses and wiring, they look so empty! The Revell '68/'69 Charger/Daytona kits are my favorites, and I try to outdo myself on each one. These three are the first builds I did with polish and wet look clear. The GTX is a bit crummy in person, but pulls out ok on the shelf. Thanks again for the comments!
