Art Anderson Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Building this from test shots. Interior colors are Tamiya TS-29 Semi-Gloss Black, Testors #1167 Flat Beige, with Tamiya TS-79 Semi Gloss Clear lacque on the seats and side panels, and Modelmaster 1834 Wet Look Clear lacquer on the beige-black-beige lower dash panel. Neat thing was, I discovered that both Modelmaster clear lacquer, and Tamiya semi-gloss clear lacquer airbrush perfectly over completely dried Testors flat finish enamel. Art
jeffs396 Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Oh Art, how you tease us by not showing the new body! Interior looks great though!
Modlbldr Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I was begining to wonder what happened to this kit. I agree. Shame on you for not showing us the body. I like what you've dine on the interior. It looks great. I can't wait to pick up a few of these. Later-
LDO Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Another vote for "can't wait to see the body". It's going to be pearl white, right??? :-)
Chuck Most Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 So glad the '56 is being kitted- the taillight design alone makes it a much better looking car than the '55 to me. Fantastic looking interior, Art!
Art Anderson Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 It's my understanding that the '56 300B kit should be in the country by the end of October or early November. Art
Mach1revo Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Since I just completed the 55' 300 and thoroughly enjoyed it I am definately wanting this kit. Keep em coming!!
Ron Hamilton Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 (edited) It will bookend with these... They are both ready for paint. By the time the '56 comes out, they should be done. Edited September 10, 2013 by Ron Hamilton
charlie8575 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 I want to see the body, too. The interior looks nice, but I'd like to see a close-up of the dash. Charlie Larkin
