peekay Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 (edited) Another one I finished this year, my third completion of this simple but great kit since it's first release. (The other two are long gone.) I did the engine but didn't detail it because the whole engine bay, with it's Chevy V8, is very wrong, hence no photos. I toyed with the idea of transplanting the Trumpeter 64 chassis but firstly it's expensive and secondly I couldn't be bothered. 13" wheels and tyres are from the Modelhaus. I've included a detail shot of the rear FORD script to illustrate the "Foil Before Paint" method, which I think works very well. Edited May 21, 2015 by peekay
bbowser Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Great model. You nailed the script on the tailgate.
Eshaver Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Hey, it certainly gets my vote !!!!!!!!!!

Renegade Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Very cool build. Agree 100% with the Chevy in a Ford. Built mine without the engine til I can find a suitable Ford engine .
Pete L. Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Really nice build, of a really cool car ! I always wanted a 1:1 version...
