Jantrix Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 That fits the Revell deuce roadster please. Recommendations please.
Foxer Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Replicas and Miniatures has one that I'd expect would fit. I came on a photo of one on a Revell kit. http://www.mamasboyz.org/20051101.html
Steve Prideaux Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 (edited) Rob, Norm Veber of Replicas and Miniaturers Co. of Maryland Lists a Duval windshield, for the Revell 32 roadster body. Part # RH-501. Steve Prideaux Edited September 12, 2013 by Steve Prideaux
Jantrix Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 I know RMCoM had one, but I was under the impression it was NOT designed for the Revell kit. Can anyone verify? Someone that bought one maybe, if not I'll contact Norm directly. Mike that kit on your link was not built using the roadster kit, but rather a modified coupe. The reason I ask, is because the body is painted and I want to make sure the windshield will fit using or covering the stock mounting points. If it doesn't, I'll just use the stock unit. Thanks for the help guys. Much appreciated.
Duntov Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 There is one in the AMT Phantom Vicky kit....don't know if it will fit....never tried it...
george 53 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 That's the FIRST thing I thought of. Hey, if it doesn't fit REAL tight, it's only plastic, MAKE it fit. We're modelers!
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 (edited) There is one in the AMT Phantom Vicky kit....don't know if it will fit....never tried it... That's a good one, but it WILL NOT fit a stock Revell body. You'll have to fill the holes and remove the cowl rail. Edited September 14, 2013 by Ace-Garageguy
ChrisR Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 (edited) Here is one I did by cutting off the top of the cowl of both kits and swaping them. Edited September 13, 2013 by ChrisR

Norm's is designed to fit the Revell roadster, but you need to shave that windshield "rubber" strip off the cowl and possibly fill the post indents.
Jantrix Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Thanks guys. Since it's painted, I'll just use the stock piece.
Paul H Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Is there an aftermarket supplier for a Vee screen (I think Duvall is one of the 'brand' names?) suitable for a Revell '32 Ford kit? I saw one in a build thread the other day, and the donor was the AMT Phantom Victoria kit, but pretty sure that I've also seen an aftermarket one somewhere, but can't find any details... Many thanks!
Tom Jackson Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Replicas and Minatures of Maryland make a real nice DuVall windscreen .

Two posts here might be helpful: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79370 One lists the parts number, the other a link to someone who used the Revell '32 Coupe and the RepMinCo Duvall windshield.
keyser Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I have a few white metal DuVall's that came from (I think) SJS a jillion years ago. They did a simple one for Deuces and A's, and another for 34-36's. No pics but I have them on a Deuce tub and roadster, and a 36 phaeton (AAM) and roadster (cowl + 5 window body correct doors). I don't know if anyone took these over, but they're awesome.
