Generally lee speaking, Mexican and me get along, but like I said, Taco Bell, not anymore , same with pizza now, I get heart burn a lot more often now after eating pizza, but it could be that I eat an entire medium thin crust in one seating almost.

Just an FYI Jonathan, Taco Bell is not Mexican Food.

I know

Taco Bell is one of those really weird things in my life. Every once in a while I get a craving. Might have to do with the fact that in college we had a Taco Johns that was the same type of food. It was a very small trailer that was 90% kitchen with a narrow walkway across the end to walk in, get your food and get out. If you only had a couple of bucks it would fill you up.

By the way my son showed me one of those facebook cards that said "No, b------, I am not going to Taco Bell for their authentic Mexican cuisine. I am going because I've only got $5 and I like Tacos."

Kinda irked with myself now. I had read a couple times that the head unit in my Chrysler not only was an AM/FM/Satallite radio and CD player that happens to have a 30gig Hard Drive with a 6.5" touch screen, but also has a DVD player built into it that that allows you to watch DVD's while the car is at least in Park if it has an auto or if the parking brake is set for stick shift equipped cars like the Challenger and those can be loaded into the HD too!

Now what irks me is that it took me so long to confirm this, could have put this to use many times while waiting in the car for my Dad or Sister while they were running into stores to get stuff! Now I'm going to load my Firefly disk into it after work tonight.

Gabe's right. Taco Bell is not Mexican food . . . it's CaliFastFeed.

Now. Let's talk about fish tacos. As close as I get to Mexican fast food (besides the 'bertos) is my favorite fish taco pusher . . . Rubio's. MmmmmmWow! B)

Don't feel too bad. My car has all sorts of choices and readouts for all kinds of things... you have to scroll through the topics and then you can make choices for each topic... you can even pick any color you like for the lighting on the gauges at night... I've never bothered to try any of that stuff, and I've had the car for 5 years now!

Will it serve fish tacos and dispense Imodium?

I have the best source for Mexican food yet. My administrative assistant hails from down Zacatacas way and adheres to the old adage, "if you love it, feed it". There isn't a day goes by she doesn't send something she made home for MrsG and I. Her boyfriend lamented he has been dating her for 6 months and gained 10 pounds.

BTW fish tacos are yummy.

You have to come to either SoCal or Baja to get great fish tacos! For those who haven't tried them, put traditional taco out of your mine. It ain't the same thing. It is a little like fish and chips Mexican style. A soft corn taco shell, a crispy fried fish filet, a little shredded cabbage, and a sweet yogurt sauce. Squeeze a lime over the top and add a slice of pickled jalapeno if you like and you have fish served the way the gods intended. Throw in a cerveza and you have a surfers lunch or a lazy afternoon at the beach. There is a lot to be said for these little wonders.

I've had some tasty ones at little local places on Pacific Beach in San Diego and in Huntington Beach..

Ok, that does sound pretty good. It's just the name that doesn't work. Fish tacos.

Fish tacos.

For some reason I get a negative mental image...

Yeah, my car has lots of little goodies like memory settings depending on which key is nearby (push button start)--seat, mirror, steering wheel position, radio station,A/C temperature settings for the specific driver. And a SAAB-like 'black panel' setting that mutes the gauge lighting but leaves a digital speedo readout lit. Fun stuff..
