I guess no one has speculated that the dog's owner could have been inside the Dunkin Donuts grabbing himself a cup of coffee while he was out walking the dog? Na, that makes too much sense.

Would you like to be left outside in the cold for who knows how long????

I have been left out in the cold too long many times. When one works construction jobs and builds America, they're out in the cold, heat, rain, snow, ALL day long just so that they can get their 8 hours in to feed their families and pay the bills. And the "suits" don't care as they only visit the jobsites on nice days, and they cry about unions demanding a decent wage.

Yeah I forgot about those cold days working up on a roof with the snow blowing on me, on purpose as they sucked!

If that was the case, the owner should have been out by the time I finished at the drive up, things weren't THAT busy around there yesterday........believe me.

Barefoot...

And in that lot, it can be brutal this time of year. Last winter was horrible there, nearly froze one night after work on the second coldest day of that winter and found the Jeep wouldn't fire, between the walk to and from the Jeep and the time it took to nearly kill the battery, I was almost hurting!

Many years ago I worked at a full service gas station that also served semi truck....winter sanding in the blizzard conditions filling up those big tanks ended up looking like a snowman when full.

???? If the dog was out there after several hours, I might be a little concerned. Living in Minnesota I've seen lots of dogs outside in the winter. In the snow. And it doesn't seen to hurt them. They have fur and padded feet. They're related to wolves, who live out in the cold all the time. It's not like shutting them up in a hot car in the summer. This does mean I think it's okay to leave the dog like for a overly long time. But, if the owner stopped off for donut and cup coffee, I don't think it's going to affect the dog too much. The dog may not like it. But knowing dogs, it probably will not be happy being left alone on a nice moderately warm day.

They're dogs. Not people.

Wolves are also highly intelligent, wild, pack animals. When it's bitter cold, they huddle together to conserve body heat, and they understand how to find shelter. They can also keep moving to stay warm, as they're not tied to a post.

They're wolves, not dogs.

That is cold, no pun intended. Some of us love animals as children.

Peeled off the wrap on a Texaco '51 Chevy pickup today and started cutting everything off the sprues. I looked at the instruction sheet and said a few choice profane words. Every printed word on the box is English, yet the instruction are in Spanish. I don't read Spanish. Luckily there's pictures to go by.

Accidentaly set off the alarm in our company, my boss didn't check the cantine when he went home early so he locked me in. Only to yell at me when he was back to see what set the alarm off... I didn't know he locked the place up ?

Seems to me the boss should have checked for workers better.
