Revell 55 Chevy Pro Sportsman

I must have seen dozens of these built up over the years on this forum so I was inspired to do one myself. I found this kit to be a bit of a fiddle in some places but generally went together without much effort.

I rounded the rear wheel arches and changed to Competition Resins front and rear wheels to make it a bit different from the crowd. Rear wing was scratch built from aluminum.

Nice variation on a theme. I like the rear spoiler treatment and the sides of the hood scoop. I've robbed this kit for parts a bunch of times but never built the durn thing. Shame on me!

I built one of these in a similar shade of green, but I prefer your wheels to those in the kit. The radiused arches look good.

I hate to use the same word so many others have already used, but it's very suitable. Your build is so clean. The wheels you chose to use work really nicely and your paint looks flawless. The color really sets it apart from lots of other builds, too...

Nice build with some personal touches - the rear wheel arches are a nice touch and can be seen as a nod to gassers but I much prefer the stance of pro mods! Did you do anything with the engine?
