Albie D Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Love the flow this sled has! Those extended quarters finish it off very nicely. Quick work too, I'm almost two months into my current project and not even near the primer stage. Great kick in the pants for all us lazy model builders James!
James2 Posted October 12, 2013 Author Posted October 12, 2013 Not to sure about the the lazy guys, but I have a lot of filling and smoothing to do still. I have found that getting the surface close and than priming, really helps these tired eyes see better. Thanks for the interest...
James2 Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 Just about ready for paint. Chassis work next.... 1
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 That's sick! Man you do awesome work
James2 Posted October 16, 2013 Author Posted October 16, 2013 Thanks James, here is a small update. I never cared for the molded in battery. Tweetie Pie engine... And some offset to help get it low.... 1
NHRA715 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 LOOKs great James, what is that green mat you are working on ??

That's a self-healing cutting mat, available at most craft and hobby stores. Not cheap, but worth the investment as it protects your work surface, cleans up easily and provides a slightly cushioned surface to work on. Hope you don't mind me answering this question, James.
James2 Posted October 18, 2013 Author Posted October 18, 2013 That's right Johann, well worth it. I got this one at Hobbytown for cheap, like $25. Thanks for the interest also guys...
James2 Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 (edited) Thanks Ira. Here is a bit of an update.... After cutting in the license plate mount, I realized the bumperettes had to go. The pencil marks represent where the taillights will be. Edited October 20, 2013 by James2
