crazyjim Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I painted this puppy with HOK ultra orange pearl over a white basecoat. I wanted to use a set of Ma's Resin MT Sportsman tires in back without having to tub it, so I found a set of wider fenders in the parts bin and glued them in place.
Tom Geiger Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Wow Jim! That orange just does it for me! Great color scheme and build!
crazyjim Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 Thank you all very much. Harry, I keep 3 models going at a time. It's almost a production line.
Harry P. Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Thank you all very much. Harry, I keep 3 models going at a time. It's almost a production line. It must be, at the rate you post new models! Nice work as always.
cobraman Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Looks good. Turned out better than my POS of the same kit. : )
realgone58 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Looks good Jim. Love the mags on it, and the little "ahoogha" horn on the fender.
JunkPile Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Jim can't let 'em sit around too long....they may get rusty
outlaw035 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 another good look'n deuce,,,really like the orange....
awhitegt Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I love the fuel filter, and I'm swiping your technique for future builds. Hope you don't mind.
crazyjim Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 No problem, Tim. That's a hex shaped necklace bead. I paint the inside with some Testors side side amber before sliding over the fuel line and use #1 Beadalon crimp beads at each end.
Porscheman Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Beautiful Jim. I really like the tan running boards and top.
Sixties Sam Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Very nice Deuce! Great color and engine detail. Good work! Sam
