forthlin Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I really enjoyed building this one. I liked those colors on the box so much I decided to paint it the same.
Harry P. Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 It looks good, but you need to be more careful when you're trimming your foil.
charlie8575 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Try a fresh blade and a steel straight-edge next foil job; makes a huge difference. That aside, you did a nice job with this. Charlie Larkin
peekay Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 You did a great job on the interior - just the right leather sheen on the seats.
realgone58 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Lots of nice points about this build. Looks nice in red/black. I've noticed mistakes in my own foil, once I look at my own pictures. They seem to be invisible to the naked eye, but the camera will find them.
PappyD340 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 That foil can be a booger, very NICE otherwise!!
Shardik Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I know what you mean about the colors on the box art. It just looks so right. You've represented it quite nicely, and that interior is gorgeous. I've noticed mistakes in my own foil, once I look at my own pictures. They seem to be invisible to the naked eye, but the camera will find them. Ain't it the truth!
forthlin Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) After looking at the pictures I have to agree the foil job leaves something to be desired. Pictures do seem to magnify any & all mistakes. Thanks for all the kudos & I appreciate the suggestions. Edited October 10, 2013 by forthlin
Mike_G Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 You did a great job on the interior - just the right leather sheen on the seats. I agree, it looks very realistic.
Kaleb Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Mike, would you mind if I posted one of these pics on Instagram? All credit goes to you.
rv1963 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 You did some very good work on this one. The finished model looks good.
