Bernard Kron Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 (edited) Nice, no jive modern rod. The Revell Willys streeter needs so badly to be slammed and you've done it perfectly. I love the deep black paint and simple approach. Bravo! Edited October 12, 2013 by Bernard Kron
rv1963 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Awsome paint great interior, great finish to this build.
jrherald420 Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I love the rims on this one. Very fitting for the model.
awhitegt Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 The stance, the deep dark gloss black...stunning!
Dinky Posted October 12, 2013 Author Posted October 12, 2013 Thanks all, I'm happy with the end result
matthijsgrit Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Wat een gaaf ding!! Hoe krijg je die lak zo??? Looking forward to see more of your work :-)
Shardik Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I like the clean, monochromatic look of the exterior. The absence of excessive chrome realy makes the wheels stand out. Good call on painting the scoop to match the body. All that, plus your (eventual ) choice of interior colors makes this a stand out 21st century street rod. Job well done.
Nacho Z Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 There are just some models that have "it", they just have "that look". This is a great example of that model. Beautiful build and great pictures of it.
Kennyboy Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Absolutely gorgeous model! Professional grade build, and just stunning!!!!
Dinky Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 Thanks all for the nice comments @ Matthijsgrit, about the paint. I use Vallejo primer and base for about everything. For small parts I use the Vallejo glosh varnish (terrible stuff) and for the body's I use Zero Paints clear.
