Erik Smith Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 that looks amazing! the little touches on the engine are NICE. Love the clamps on the air box. Did you have to make those or are they molded in and you were able to pick them out? Thanks for all the comments. The air box clamps are bent wire, added, not molded.
Tom Geiger Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Minus the whitewalls IMO White walls look odd on the street today. Back when we bought our '99 Breeze for my daughter, it came from a friend's father in law, who was a car guy in his 60s. It was his wife's car and had been polished within an inch of it's life. And it had white walls AND a chrome exhaust extension on it.
Custom Mike Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Simply gorgeous Erik, that baby looks like the real thing!
joeym Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 You said it is not perfect?? You could have fooled me. This thing is awesome. It turned out spectacular!! Very nicely done!!
Mike Kucaba Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Looks real and the roof debacle seems to disappear when built=up and painted nicely. Thumbs-up !!
realgone58 Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 This is the best one of these I've seen! Beautiful! It's funny, but if I were to have bought one of these, I would have gotten white walls too. Just call me old school I guess.
Ford guy Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Excellent build Erik. The detail you put on this is great, especially the engine compartment! Looks so real.
kilrathy10 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Man, this kit brings back some serious memories...Mostly in black and white in my rear view mirror rollin' in my Camaro, though...... .I'm gonna have to grab a few of these....Great work....I'm lovin' the white walls....Awesome!!!!
mustang1989 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 (edited) Now THAT is truly remarkable and impressive!!! I'm a little biased because I'm a Mustang fan but aside from that, to get a model car to look as realistic as you have built here goes far above the call here. From the headlights to the tail lights you've really nailed it here Erik. Your photo taking ability is also top notch capturing such a good build at all the right angles Great job man. Sixties Sam Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 What does the fox say? Well, today it says great job on this Mustang! Very clean build, well detailed. I like it! Sam
Pace Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Fantastic build! Whats color did you use to that rust brown thingy on the rear suspension ?
Platerpants Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I hate the foxes but your build makes me want to grab this kit
Hubert Rollins Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Nice lookin model- really dig the engine bay!!
W117monte Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 this build is really cool. i love the dead stock look. i also love a build with a little story behind it. you should build one now that represents the same car 10 years later. A few owners down the road, and now a highschool kid has it and puts fat tires, a monster tach with shift light, Off road H pipe, upper intake, drag shocks, cowl hood etc..
captjeffro26 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Nice and clean. I like this alot. The detail on the chassis is unreal. Awesome job!
