Ajay Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Hi all, Just OOB except for removal of emblems etc and a lowering job ( i love metal axle kits !). Colour is HOK Brandywine & wheels are Pegasus Sovereigns. Thanks for looking Andy
Erik Smith Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 That's beautiful, Andy. Great color combo and paint job.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Love it love it love it. You just never see these, and the car has really great, understated lines. I tracked down (in Texas) the 1:1 '63 Dynamic 88 convert I drove in high school, and it's on my 'keepers' list, to start rebuilding maybe this year. Your spin on this hardtop has me fired up again. Nice work.
peekay Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Beautifully done Andy, one of the nicest Johans I've seen.
doggie427 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Perfectly illustrates why us oldtimers LOVE these Johan kits. A kit (or promo) that looks just like the real thing ! Beautiful model Andy.
carrucha Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Sweet boulevard cruiser! I like your choice of wheels and tires. Good job.
Chris White Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 that is absolutely perfect !!!! Love the wheels and the stance
Ron Hamilton Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 My Dad had a White on Red '62 Starfire Convertible back in the early sixties, which was a great car. I have two of the JoHan '63's to do one day. And that build is downright gorgeous, Ajay!!!!!
Harry P. Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Very slick, Andy! A beautiful model of a very seldom-seen subject.
James2 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Long, Low and Shiny, What's not to like. Well done.
The70judgeman Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Very slick, Andy! A beautiful model of a very seldom-seen subject. No comment on the lack of a mirror? You're slipping Harry! All kidding aside...great looking model Andy. Love the color.
plastikjunkie2 Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 id have to put this up there as one of your best .such a rare subject subjected to andy's treatment .wheels colors and stance nailed...
Harry P. Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 No comment on the lack of a mirror? You're slipping Harry! It has the inside mirror. Side mirrors were optional back then, so I let it slide...
