Harry, you found the motherload, but the prices are not cheap. I guess in groups of 6 or more, then it is a bit cheaper.

There's got to be a way of getting a hold of full sheets instead of these finger nail shapes.

Cool Harry! Noting that one of the ads shows a Walmart sticker of $8.50 on a box, and they're offered on eBay for about $2 each in the lots, I'd say they weren't a big sales success, and maybe hit closeout?

Tom, that's what I am hoping for. As a matter of fact, on AMAZON some of the checker patterns are going to ridiculous money because I think most of this stuff is going to disappear soon. A fast-dying fad, which will be good for us.

And check the clearance aisle at Walmart! I've found some amazing things there.

I like the look of some of them; the zebra skin in particular looks pretty close to scale, and one of the floral designs might work for a Barracuda ModTop! Some of the plaids might be good for '50s accessory seat covers as well.

Check rue21 I've seen them there real cheap. And other stores of that variety.

I used some of those on a custom Dodge Copperhead...snakeskin

They didn't stick too well, dullcoat would have looked better

They are also kind of brittle, and they crack if not too careful

Doc l found some Maybelline ones at walmart and l picked up a zebra pattern. Mabbelline was cheaper then Sally Hansen.

Hey Dr Cranky, after viewing your vid on youtube, i found some of those strips but they are a color changing style. Found them in a dollar store for 1 buck. I have not tried them yet, but after I do, will give you some feedback. Also bringing up the nail sections of the stores, I also found nail jewels, and I used some for blue dot tail lights on a car.
